Team Purple is an AOTC-focused World of Warcraft raid team within Ex Inferno on Area 52, designed for players who want organized progression without a heavy raid schedule.. Formed just before the start of Season 2 of The War Within, the team has achieved Ahead of the Curve in both Season 2 and Season 3. Led by ElkeWTF with support from Bear and Cyttorak, Team Purple emphasizes preparation, consistency, and teamwork while maintaining a welcoming and structured raid environment for a roster of approximately 30 players.

Here are the answers to our most common questions about raid schedule, recruitment, and what makes us different.

We raid Wednesday nights from 6:30-9:30 PM EST. That's it - just one 3-hour raid night per week. This schedule works great for players with jobs, families, or other commitments who still want consistent AOTC progression without burning out.

Yes! We've achieved Ahead of the Curve in every tier since forming in Season 2 of The War Within. Our track record includes Heroic Gallywix (Liberation of Undermine) (Season 2) and Heroic Dimensius (Manaforge Omega) (Season 3), with Midnight Season 1 as our next goal.

We're part of the Ex Inferno mega-guild on Area 52, which means you get the structure and consistency of an organized raid team plus access to a massive M+ community, multiple raid teams at different levels, and an active Discord. You get small-team atmosphere with mega-guild resources.

Yes! We're actively recruiting for The War Within Season 3. We evaluate all strong players regardless of class, with particular interest in ranged DPS, melee DPS, and healers. Visit our recruitment page to see current needs and apply through our Discord.

We're semi-hardcore - serious about achieving AOTC but not at the expense of fun or real life. We require preparation (knowing fights, proper gear/enchants), consistent attendance, and a positive attitude. We don't require mythic progression, split raids, or excessive farming outside raid nights.

No! Cross-realm raiding means you can raid with us from any US server. However, being on Area 52 does give you access to Ex Inferno guild perks like access to guild crafting orders. Many raiders eventually transfer once they're committed.
