What to Expect on Raid Nights

Raid nights are structured to make the most of our scheduled time. Invitations begin at 6:10 PM Eastern, giving everyone time to get settled and ready before we start. All raiders are expected to arrive properly prepared with appropriate gems, enchants, flasks, food, and weapon oils in place. We aim to pull promptly at 6:30 PM Eastern, keeping the night focused, organized, and respectful of everyone’s time.

Attendance and Commitment

Consistent attendance is crucial for both individual and team success. We understand that life happens, and occasional absences are inevitable. However, we ask raiders to communicate any expected absences well in advance whenever possible. This allows us to plan accordingly and maintain a full roster for each raid night.

Our approach to progression places a strong emphasis on consistency and follow-through. Team Purple maintains a roster of approximately 30 players, all of whom are supported and expected to participate on raid nights. We do not operate with a traditional bench; instead, raid spots are based on readiness and availability. Players who regularly complete their required Mythic+ keys and communicate attendance are able to maintain consistent raid participation, helping ensure a stable roster that supports strong teamwork, communication, and overall performance.

To support fair and efficient gearing, Team Purple expects raiders not to be saved to the raid lockout prior to our scheduled raid night. This ensures we can maximize loot opportunities for the group as a whole and maintain flexibility during progression. Once our raid night concludes, players are free to continue clearing or pug additional bosses on their own if we have not already completed the instance.

Outside of Raid Nights

Raiding one night per week allows Team Purple to stay focused on progression while preserving flexibility. By keeping our raid schedule concise and intentional, players have the freedom to engage with other aspects of World of Warcraft on their own terms, whether that means running Mythic+ keys, leveling alts, or exploring additional content throughout the season.

Just as importantly, a one-night raid schedule respects time outside the game. Many of our raiders balance work, family, and other commitments, and this structure makes it possible to pursue progression without feeling locked into an all-consuming schedule. Team Purple is designed for players who want to raid seriously while still maintaining space for the rest of what they enjoy, both in Azeroth and in real life.
